Design Team

I'm thrilled to introduce the wonderful Handmade Harbour design team!  These lovely ladies come up with designs to make cards, scrapbook pages and more using Handmade Harbour digi stamps to help inspire you.

Check out their blogs for more info about them and their work.  I'll let them introduce themselves to you in their own words:

Hi my name is Elina Pereira and I have been scrapbooking and crafting off and on for a number of years now. I am a married mom to two beautiful girls ages, 14 and 5. I enjoy creating layouts and cards and experimenting with new techniques I pick up along the way. I'm so happy to be a part of this exciting team!!

Hi I'm Emma, and live on the South Coast of England with my 7 year old son. I LOVE Crafting and craft most days when I can. Unfortunately since the birth of my son I have suffered bouts of ill health, but crafting has been a saviour! Stamping, be it working with digital images or rubber stamps, is my favourite craft, but I’ll give anything a go! I am thrilled to be part of The Handmade Harbour DT and look forward to working on some exciting new challenges!

Hi, I’m Josie from SewforSoul.  I live in the North East of England with my husband, two children and a very naughty cat.
I enjoy all things creative, but my first love is sewing, especially appliqué.  Whenever possible I use upcycled materials as celebrating life shouldn't cost the Earth.  I'm very excited about working with Wendy and her fabulous images. I hope to inspire card makers to use their digital stamps to make wonderful and unique sewn items.  I get so much pleasure from creating hand-stitched gifts such as bunting, tea cosies and journals and they look even more amazing when presented with a matching card or gift tag!

I live in Staffordshire and work part-time in a lovely little craft shop, so I am able to indulge my love of all things crafty both at home and at work. Most of my free time is devoted to card-making, but I also enjoy scrap-booking, sewing, knitting and crochet. When I'm not crafting, my partner and I love to get out and about for long walks - you'll usually find me, camera in hand, taking photos of all that the great British countryside has to offer! I'm really looking forward to working with my new team members over the coming months, and getting to know them all.

My name is Kelli, but I tend to go by “kel”.  I am 30 years old, happily married to a wonderful husband with 5 loving kiddos, 3 of them furry. I am a scrapbooker & cardmaker at heart but I also dabble in knitting, sewing and eventually, crocheting if I can’t get myself to get rid of my grandmother’s crocheting yarns. I am also a non-traditional college student pursuing a double major in Asian Studies & History, and then hopefully a Masters in Teaching or Library Science. Or both. We’ll see what happens when we get there!

Hello everyone.  Connie Walsh here.  I live with my husband, Dave, in Barnegat, New Jersey, which is about 35 miles northeast of Atlantic City.  Between us we have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  They all our youngest 2 daughters live near us, and our older daughter and son live in Florida.  I am a retired special education teacher and currently I work part-time at Michaels craft store as a paper crafting instructor.

I have been involved in crafting for many years…embroidery, crewel, candle making, candy making, knitting, crocheting, and everything in between.   I used to read all kinds of craft books, when crafting wasn’t very popular and tried my hand at what they showed.  When teaching school, I tried to put crafty items into the themes I developed for my students, and used them as an alternative way to teach.

I really love the feeling I get when I make a card or a scrapbook page.  Putting various shapes and colors together to come up with something that I like is amazing to me.  I have never considered myself to be an “artist”, but with stamps, Copics, papers, and such, I have fun and like what I see.  I go by spells, creating first a bunch of cards, then I will make scrapbook pages, and then I see and make home décor items.  I can spend hours in my craft room.

Hello, my name is Lynne Mizera and these are the things that define me:  I love life, Love people and LOVE to laugh.  I am a 51 years young grandmother to three fantastic boys and I live on four beautiful acres snug up against the Rockies in Water Valley, Alberta, Canada.  I LOVE food in all its forms (to eat it, to make it and to feed it to people!).  I have been a creative soul all my life and I HAVE to create something with my hands everyday or I become UNBALANCED!  It doesn't matter whether I am in my garden, in my kitchen or in my studio I spend my days creating wonderful things!  In the paper arts world I tend to gravitate toward vibrant, bright colors and bold but simple layouts and I am honored to be a part of  the Handmade Harbour design team!  My Eyes are blue, my hair is curly and the REST is subject to change without notice (grin).
